Women’s Basketball Starts Road Swing at Northeastern on Tuesday

BOSTON – For its 2025-26 road opener, the Boston University women's basketball program makes the short trip to Northeastern on Tuesday (Nov. 11). Opening tip is set for 2 p.m.
BU (0-2) opens a three-game road swing around New England that spans the course of eight days. Last season, the Terriers sported a 3-3 mark against out-of-conference foes away from home.
Northeastern (1-1) returns to Boston for its second home contest. The Huskies dropped their lone matchup in Boston this year to LIU, 75-60, back on Nov. 3.

- BU sustained a 52-50 loss to Dartmouth in its last game on Friday (Nov. 7).
- Despite forcing 18 turnovers and limiting the Big Green to less than 33 percent shooting in the second half, the Terriers could not overcome a 34.5 percent offensive performance.
- BU corralled 15 offensive rebounds against Dartmouth, a feat they reached just twice a season ago.
- Sophomore Rose Azmoudeh led the Terriers with a trio of three-pointers for nine points, her first in the Scarlet & White.
- Junior Inés Monteagudo Pardo leads BU with four three-pointers this year. She has scored 17 points in her first two appearances.
- The Terrier bench has scored 36 points in the first two matchups. Senior Anastasiia Semenova has led that unit with eight points per contest.
- Tuesday marks the start of BU's first three-game road stretch this year. The Terriers have another scheduled from Dec. 1-13.
- Northeastern is the first of three Massachusetts-based opponents on BU's schedule. UMass Lowell and Holy Cross are the other foes.
- The Huskies are coming off a 75-64 road victory over Yale on Nov. 7.
- Four Huskies are averaging double figures early, including Camryn Collins' 14.5 points per game.
- Northeastern is scoring 67.5 points per game while limiting foes to 23.5 percent shooting from beyond the arc.
- Last year, the Huskies went 3-25 and just 2-16 in CAA play.
- Head coach Priscilla Edwards-Lloyd is in her third season at the helm.
- Tuesday marks the 83rd all-time meeting between BU and Northeastern in a series that began in 1976.
