Men's Tennis Claims Doubleheader Sweep at MIT

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Boston University men's tennis team claimed a doubleheader sweep at MIT with wins over the host Engineers and Merrimack on Saturday evening.
After losing a tightly-contested doubles point, the Terriers captured four of six singles points to edge MIT, 4-3, and avenge last season's 5-2 defeat. BU then won the lone doubles match and all four singles contests for the 5-0 victory over the Warriors.

- Freshman Owen Lu won both of his singles matches at line 2 and also teamed with classmate Ethan Kolsky for a 7-6 win at No. 3 doubles.
- Both sophomore Marc Sable and freshman David Bogatin also posted a pair of victories in singles action.
- Kolsky held off a late charge from MIT's Victor Cheng in a 6-3, 4-6, 7-6(5) thriller to help the Terriers pull out the victory.
- Freshman Pete Siozios rebounded from a super tiebreaker loss to MIT with a 6-2, 6-1 victory at line 4 over Merrimack.
