CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Playing its third match of the weekend, the Boston University men's tennis team fell at Boston College, 6-1, on Sunday afternoon.

The Eagles swept through doubles and then captured five singles points, but the Terriers were competitive, forcing a tiebreaker at No. 3 doubles and capturing a combined four sets in singles.

MATCH NOTES

Freshman Pete Siozios led the Terriers with a 6-3, 6-3 victory at line 6 in singles action.
Freshman Ethan Kolsky and sophomore J.P. Avila came up just short in doubles in the No. 3 slot with a hard-fought 7-6 loss.
Both freshman David Bogatin (#4) and sophomore Marc Sable (#5) won a set in their respective singles match but lost the super tiebreaker by an identical score of 10-7.
