ALLSTON, Mass. – Facing its first of two nationally-ranked Ivy League opponents this weekend, the Boston University men's tennis team dropped a hard-fought 5-2 decision at No. 26 Harvard on Friday night.
The Crimson won a tightly-contested doubles point and then claimed four of the six singles points, including three in straight sets.

MATCH NOTES
- Freshman David Bogatin led the Terriers by winning in both doubles and singles action ... He first teamed with sophomore Fabian Soemarno for a 7-6(10) win at line 2 and then rolled to a 7-6(5), 6-3 victory in the No. 4 slot.
- Freshman Owen Lu captured the other point for BU at line 2 with an identical score of 7-6(5), 6-3.
- Lu and sophomore J.P. Avila came up just short at No. 3 doubles in a 7-6(3) loss that gave Harvard its first point of the day.
- Junior Satyajit Simhadri won the first set in the top singles match, but Robert Wrzesinski rallied for a 4-6, 6-2, 11-9 victory.
- The two points mark the most for BU against the nationally-ranked Crimson in over a decade.
