AUBURN, Ala. - Highlighted by a record-breaking performance by David Oluwadara, the Boston University men's track & field team continued its outdoor season by competing at two meets over the weekend, the Auburn Tiger Track Classic in Auburn, Ala. and the Ocean State Invite in Providence, R.I.

Competing at the Tiger Track Classic, Oluwadara broke the school triple jump record with a leap of 16.21 meters (53'2.25") breaking the old mark of 16.10 meters (52'10") set by Duane Carlisle's way back in 1985.

TOP PERFORMERS

David Oluwadara broke the Boston University school record in the triple jump with a jump of 16.21 meters (53'2.25"), finishing first among collegians and breaking the old mark of 16.10 meters (52'10") set by Duane Carlisle's way back in 1985. Oluwadara's jump is currently the fifth best triple jump in the nation this year.
Cameron Nurse finished fifth in the 200m dash with a time of 21.18, best in the Patriot League.
The men's 4x100m relay team of Justin Flynn, Chiebuka Onwuzurike, Jordan Love and Cameron Nurse finished with a Patriot League fastest time of 40.42, good for third place overall.
Justin Flynn competed in the 100m dash and finished 12th with a time of 10.50 while Chiebuka Onwuzurike finished 19th (10.62) and Jordan Love finished 22nd (10.66) in a field of 44. Flynn's time is currently second-fastest in the Patriot League run this season.
Haig Rickerby competed in the 800 meters and finished 13th with a time of 1:56.26.

TOP PERFORMERS

Sophomore Paul Luevano had an excellent performance in the 800m run on Friday night, finishing first with a time of 1:51.89, which is second-best in the Patriot League. Friday was the first time Luevano has run the 800m as a Terrier.
Johnathon Kemps competed in the mile run and finished sixth with a time of 4:07.79.
Tommy Quinn competed in the 800m run and finished with an excellent time of 1:54.01, a new personal best.
Zachary Prescott had a strong showing in the 3000m run, finishing with a new personal-best time of 8:49.81 and in third place in a field of 23.
Gregory Pelose and Logan Broedner competed in the 3000m steeplechase and finished third and fifth respectively in a field of eight. Pelose finished with a time of 9:11.43 while Broeder finished in 10:04.45.

After this weekend's competition, the Terriers will compete at the Georgia Tech Invite in Atlanta Georgia and the Sean Collier MIT Invite in Cambridge, Mass. both on April 21.
