PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - The Boston University men's and women's track and field teams will continue their outdoor season competing at the Penn Relays from Thursday to Saturday.
The Penn Relays are the oldest track and field competition in the nation and this weekend marks the 124th running.
Complete up-to-date results throughout the weekend can be found on www.ThePennRelays.com, while the meet will be broadcast live on USATF.TV with TV windows on Friday from 5-6 and Saturday from 12:30-3 on NBC Sports.
Last year, the men's and women's track and field teams combined to break four school records at the Penn Relays. Both the men's and women's 4x200 meter relay teams broke the school record on Friday in heat racing and advanced to Saturday's finals. Both teams then broke the records again competing in the finals on Saturday. In their final event of the meet, the women's 4x400m relay team broke the school record and finished sixth. In addition, on Friday the women's shuttle hurdle team also broke the school record in the finals and finished in third place overall.
Overall, the Terriers combined for seven top-ten finishes competing against some of the top college programs in the country.
