Noell Competes at NCAA East Regionals

TAMPA, Fla. - Senior Tehya Noell of the Boston University women's track & field team competed in the 100m hurdles at the NCAA East Regionals on Friday afternoon.

Noell finished 43rd with a time of 13.73 seconds. She qualified for the NCAA prelims with her gold-medal performance at the Patriot League Outdoor Championships when she finished first with a personal-best time of 13.43 seconds. In addition to her success in the 100m hurdles, Noell was also the conference's long jump champion this outdoor season. During her senior indoor season, Noell also won Patriot League titles in both the 60m hurdles and the long jump.

Two Terriers will compete on Saturday, beginning with sophomore Paul Luevano in the quarterfinals of the 1500m run on at 1 p.m. Graduate student David Oluwadara will then take part in the triple jump at 3:30 p.m.
