Kellar Named Patriot League Rookie of the Week

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - Freshman Jessica Kellar of the Boston University women's cross country team was named Patriot League Rookie of the Week, the conference announced on Tuesday.
Kellar was outstanding on Friday at the Battle in Beantown. She finished 29th in the 5K race with a time of 17:52.2, which was over 1:40 faster than her time in the season opener against Florida State on the same course. Kellar was also ninth among her peers in the Northeast Region and eighth overall among rookies.
BU will return to competition on Saturday, Sept. 29, when the Terriers take part in the Paul Short Run at Lehigh.
