Men's Tennis Ends Regular Season with 4-0 Win over Colgate

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Wrapping up the regular season, the Boston University men's tennis team earned a 4-0 victory against Colgate Sunday afternoon at the Drumlins Country Club.
The Terriers (8-15, 3-4 PL) won the top two doubles matches for the first point and then captured three singles points in straight sets to defeat the Raiders (7-13, 2-3 PL).

- Sophomores Owen Lu and David Bogatin posted a 6-3 victory at line 1, while freshman Max Hartenstein and junior J.P. Avila earned a 6-4 win in the No. 2 slot.
- Colgate avoided the sweep by edging the Terriers, 6-4, at line 3.
- Sophomore Pete Siozios dropped just two games in a dominating 6-0, 6-2 victory at line 3, while Avila cruised to a 6-3, 6-1 victory in the No. 5 slot.
- Junior Marc Sable prevailed in a tightly-cotested first set and then coasted in the second for the final point, 7-5, 6-2, at line 6.
- Bogatin (#1) won his first set, while both Lu (#2) and freshman Max Hartenstein (#4) were ahead in the second when their matches were halted.
- The Terriers will next head to Army for the conference tournament on April 19-21.
- BU has reached the semifinals four out of the last five years.
