BU Track & Field Cancels Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener

Boston University Track & Field announced on Tuesday that the program will not host its Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener on Dec. 5, due to ongoing concerns over the COVID-19 pandemic.
Details regarding the rest of the 2020-21 indoor season home schedule, including the BU Multi-Team Meet, John Thomas Terrier Classic, Bruce Lehane Scarlet & White Invite, David Hemery Valentine Invite and the BU Last Chance Meet, as well as the Patriot League Championship, will be made in the coming weeks.
Any future home meets held at BU's Track & Tennis Center will be contingent on being able to conduct competition in ways that protect the health and safety of student-athletes, coaches, staffs and their communities.
