Men's Swimming & Diving Rolls Past Bryant, 194-104

BOSTON - The Boston University men's swimming & diving team picked up its first dual win of the season on Saturday, rolling past Bryant at Competition Pool by a score of 194-104.

The Terriers finished first in all but four events and had two swimmers earn two wins apiece.

Senior Stuart Vickery took both butterfly events, putting together a 51.40 in the 100 and a 1:55.95 in the 200. Junior Sarsen Whatmore turned in a 1:41.64 to finish first in the 200 free before adding another win in the 500 free (4:38.36).

Freshman Dolan Grisbaum won the 1000 free in a time of 9:35.55 while freshman Lyde De Hooghe was tops in the 1-meter dive with a score of 265.65

In the 50 free, sophomore Justin Lee was the first swimmer back to the wall in a time of 21.24. 

Juniors Ethan Thomas (100 free, 47.23) and Kyle Falkstrom (200 IM, 1:55.83) also earned first-place finishes for the Terriers.

BU topped Bryant in both relays with times of 1:33.33 (200 medley) and 3:07.28 (400 free).

The Terriers will make their first road trip of the season on Saturday (Oct. 30) when they visit Massachusetts for a dual that starts at noon.
