Men's Tennis Falls to New Mexico, 7-0

SAN DIEGO, Calif. – Concluding its California trip, the Boston University men's tennis team fell to New Mexico, 7-0, on Saturday afternoon at the Hogan Center.
The Lobos (6-7) won two doubles matches by a combined score of 12-2 for the first point and then captured six singles points in straight sets to defeat the Terriers (0-11).
Sophomore Johann Sajonz won the most games for BU, as he battled Nicholas Prieto at line 6 in a 7-5, 6-4 loss. Classmate Ben Letzer was a tiebreaker away from forcing a third set, as he fell to Daniil Kakhniuk, 6-1, 7-6.
BU will next return to the East Coast and visit St. John's on Saturday (March 19) at 7:30 p.m.
