No. 11 Men's Rowing to Race No. 10 Northeastern for Arlett Cup Saturday Morning on Charles River

BOSTON – Ranked No. 11 in the first IRA Coaches Poll of the spring, the Boston University men's rowing team will race No. 10 Northeastern for the Arlett Cup Saturday morning with the ESPN+ broadcast set to begin at 8 a.m.
The Terriers opened the schedule this past Sunday winning three of four races, including the varsity eight, against No. 12 Navy, while also picking up a win in the fourth varsity eight against No. 6 Brown.
BU will be looking to regain possession of the Arlett Cup after losing the varsity eight race to Northeastern in 2019 by just 0.2 seconds and the 2018 race by 3.9 seconds. The crews took to the water last April but did not put the trophy on the line due to both rosters being impacted by Covid. The Terriers won the Cup three straight seasons from 2015-17.
