SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Completing a two-match road trip to the Central PA Tennis Center, the Boston University men's tennis team fell to Bucknell, 4-0, on Sunday afternoon.
The Bison (6-14, 2-1 PL) won the first two doubles matches for the first point and then captured the top three singles points to defeat the Terriers (2-15, 1-2 PL).
Bucknell jumped out to the 1-0 lead by winning in doubles by a combined score of 12-2. In singles, freshman
Adrian Pawlowski rallied to force a third set at line 3 before coming up just short, 6-2, 2-6, 7-5.
After his No. 3 doubles match was halted with the score tied at 3-3, freshman
Gabe Brown battled his opponent in the No. 2 singles slot to a pair of tiebreakers, which Bucknell prevailed in for the 7-6(5), 7-6(2) victory.

Ben Letzer, was on the door step of forcing a third set at line 4 when his match was halted with the Bison ahead, 6-1, 1-4. Freshman
Dion Loutas dropped the other point in the top singles match to the Bison's UNC Wilmington transfer, Harrison Gold, 6-3, 6-3.
The Terriers will next visit Holy Cross on Wednesday, April 13, for a 2:30 p.m. start.
