Women's Golf Begins Play at NCAA Franklin Regional on Monday

FRANKLIN, Tenn. – The Boston University women's golf team will take on some of the top teams in the nation starting on Monday (May 9) when it takes part in the NCAA Franklin Regional at the Vanderbilt Legends Club.
The three-round tournament features 12 teams with the Terriers earning the No. 11 seed in the regional. BU is making its third NCAA Regional appearance (2015, 2019) after winning its third Patriot League title on April 17.
Head coach Bruce Chalas, the 2022 PL Coach of the Year, has submitted the team lineup with sophomore and PL Player of the Year Flair Kuan in the No. 1 spot followed by senior Hanako Kawasaki, freshman Christy Chen, freshman Victoria Takai and junior Alice Fan.
Fan will tee off first Monday at 9:55 a.m. ET. The Vanderbilt Legends Club is a par-72 course that will play 6,450 yards this week.
The top four teams and top two individuals not on an advancing team will qualify for the NCAA Championships at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz., from May 20-25.
