PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Highlighted by senior Ben Letzer's perfect performance in singles, the Boston University men's tennis team continued the fall schedule over the weekend at the Brown Invitational.

BU faced opponents from the host school, Quinnipiac and Fairfield with six Terriers collecting at least one singles victory and four duos earning at least one doubles win.

Letzer won all three of his singles contests in straight sets, starting with a tightly-contested 6-4, 7-6(1) win over Quinnipiac's Csanad Nyaradi and then comfortable victories against the Bears (6-4, 6-2) and Bobcats (6-3, 6-2). He also added a doubles win alongside classmate Owen Voigt over Quinnipiac.

Senior Jonah Dickson tallied a pair of wins in singles play, cruising past Quinnipiac's Yasha Laskin, 6-2, 6-2, and then rallying from a set down to dispatch Fairfield, 2-6, 7-5, 1-0(6). Both he and junior Cole Knutsen went 3-0 during doubles with a pair of victories over the Bobcats and a win against the Stags.

The Terriers will next compete in the ITA Northeast Regionals with Yale serving as host on Oct. 6-9.
