Prosser Qualifies for NCAA Championships
November 11, 2023 | Women's Cross Country
BOSTON – Freshman Hannah Prosser of the Boston University women's cross country team was named an automatic individual qualifier for the NCAA Cross Country Championships, the NCAA announced Saturday.
Prosser will compete against 255 runners from schools across the country at Panorama Farms in Charlottesville, V.A. on Sat., Nov. 18. Should she finish among the top-40 runners, she will earn All-American honors.
The All-Region finisher has led BU in every meet she has competed in and has finished no lower than fifth as an individual. She most recently took fifth at the NCAA Northeast Regionals with a time of 19:58.1 over 6K, a personal best. It is also the best finish at regionals since 2008 for BU and I the second-fastest mark in program history.
The Wanaka, New Zealand, native is BU's first Terrier to advance to the championships since Andrea Claeson in 2021.
