Track & Field Set for Patriot League Championships

BOSTON – Boston University track & field is prepped to compete at the Patriot League Indoor Track & Field Championships this weekend hosted at Navy. The competition will take place on Saturday (Feb. 25) and Sunday (Feb. 26) with both days starting at 11 a.m.
The weekend's track events will be streamed on ESPN+. While the field events will not be streamed on the broadcast, they will be covered on the @PatriotLeagueTV account on Twitter and Instagram.
A combined 61 athletes from the men's and women's squads will compete for BU at this year's championship across 40 events. On the track, BU has five top performances in the league on the men's side in the 60m, 200m, 400m and 500m dashes as well as the distance medley relay.
BU also has nine of the top-13 performances in the league on the women's track side. The Terriers have the leading times in the 60m, 200m, 400m and 500m dashes, the 1,000m, mile, 3,000m and 5,000m runs and the distance medley relay.
There will be a team score format for the meet with each individual event contributing to the team score. A full list of events, times and championship information can be found on the Patriot League website or in the Championship Program.
