KANSAS CITY, Mo. – For the 11th consecutive season, both the Boston University men's and women's soccer programs earned the Team Academic Award from the United Soccer Coaches (formerly known as the NSCAA). The award is the highest academic team award a program can earn and was given to those that boasted a grade point average of 3.0 or greater during the 2022-23 academic year.
A combined total of 801 soccer teams (307 men, 494 women) from the NCAA, NCCAA and NAIA were recognized, and BU was one of just 179 schools to have both of its programs honored.

Casey Brown, the Terrier women earned a GPA of 3.69 for their 15th-straight honor, while the men under head coach
Kevin Nylen claimed their 11th-consecutive award with a 3.29 GPA.
