Women’s Soccer Hosts Lafayette in PL Semifinal Bout on Thursday

BOSTON – In search of its second consecutive Patriot League championship, the No. 1-seed Boston University women's soccer program welcomes No. 5-seed Lafayette to Nickerson Field in the Patriot League Tournament semifinal round on Thursday (Nov. 6). Opening kick is set for 6 p.m.
BU (10-4-3, 7-1-1 PL) earn home field advantage throughout the postseason after ending the regular season on a seven-game winning streak. The Terriers sported a 24-5 scoring advantage against conference opponents this season with seven total shutouts.
Lafayette (5-7-7, 3-3-3 PL) made the Patriot League Tournament after going unbeaten in three of its final four regular season matches. The Leopards advanced past No. 4-seed Holy Cross in penalty kicks, 4-2, following a 2-2 draw in Worcester, Mass.
Thursday's game airs on ESPN+ with Katie Bennert, Andrew Garnder and Caitlin Beal on the call. Free pizza is available for fans on the Nickerson Field concourse, while supplies last.
