Prosser Chosen as PL Rookie of the Week

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Freshman Hannah Prosser of Boston University's women's cross country team has been named the Patriot League Rookie of the Week, the league announced Monday.

In her collegiate debut at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational, Prosser placed first in the women's 5K with a time of 16.20.41. She finished with over a minute gap behind her to record the fourth fastest 5K time in NCAA Division I this season. Her time also marks one of the fastest 5K performances in BU history.

In addition, freshman Molly Kiley received an honorable mention for Rookie of the Week for her third-place finish in the 5K with a time of 17:35.21. This marks her second honorable mention for the award this season.

The Terriers will compete next at the Paul Short Invite on September 30.Â
