November 4, 2024 | Men's Soccer
BETHLEHEM, Pa. – After netting the game winner in a shutout victory on the road, Boston University men's soccer junior Quin DeLaMater claimed Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week honors, the conference office announced Monday afternoon.
The award marks the first for DeLaMater and the third overall this season for the Terriers after sophomore Andrea DiBlasio (Offensive Player) and graduate student Andrew Wike (Goalkeeper) previously received recognition from the PL.
A native of Marietta, Georgia, DeLaMater flicked classmate Ryan Lau's corner kick into the back of the net in the 47th minute against Navy. Playing all 90 minutes, he helped the Terriers clear away six corner kicks and limit the Midshipmen to just two shots on goal for the 1-0 win.
The Terriers will next visit Holy Cross in the final game of the regular season on Tuesday (Nov. 5) at 6 p.m.
