CUMBERLAND, R.I. and WALTHAM, Mass. – Competing against the Northeast 10 conference in a doubleheader split between two locations, the Boston University men's tennis team claimed a pair of sweeps on Saturday.

The Terriers (8-4) first blanked Adelphi (4-2), 7-0, at Fore Court in Rhode Island in the afternoon and then rolled past Assumption (4-6), 7-0, at night with the Waltham Athletic Club serving as host.

In total, BU claimed 10 of the 12 singles points in straight sets with the other two being decided via third set tiebreakers. The Terriers won five doubles matches and were ahead in another when that contest was halted against Adelphi.

Sophomore Corey Craig, senior Ben Letzer and freshman Gustavs Dambins all went 2-0 on the day in singles action. Craig also claimed a pair of doubles victories with sophomore Jakob Esterowitz on court No. 3, while senior Johann Sajonz and sophomore Alejandro Licea matched their efforts in the top slot.

The Terriers will next visit Brown on Sunday (Feb. 25) at 10 a.m.
