BOSTON - The Boston University women's track & field team competed in day one of the David Hemery Valentine Invitational on Friday to close out the regular season. The Terriers recorded four top-ten program marks and 11 top-five event placements at the meet.

Top 10 Terriers

Sophomore Kate Edenson ran a 2:08.88 in the 800m to post the fourth-fastest time in BU history with the 3" PR.
In the triple jump, sophomore Peace Omonzane jumped 12.97m (42' 6.75") to keep the second-best mark in BU history with the improvement.
Sophomore Madison Sorrell broke into the top performers list in the shot put and is now tenth all-time with a throw of 12.97m (42' 6.75").
Senior Juliana Nakouzi keeps the fifth-best all-time mark in the weight throw with her PR of 17.62m (57' 9").

Top Performers

Junior Asia Hamilton jumped 5.67m (18' 7.25") in the long jump to take fourth and 1.65m (5' 5") in the high jump to place third.
Placing fourth in pole vault was freshman Abigail Wagner with a jump of 3.62m (11' 10.5").
Sophomore Ijeoma Ezechukwu placed fifth in the open 60m dash with a 7.86 and 53rd in the 200m with a 25.57.
Junior Jamie Chamberlain ran a 9.17 in the open 60m hurdles to place fourth.
In her true season debut, junior Emma Lawrence jumped 11.85m (38' 10.5") in the triple jump to place fifth.
Nakouzi took first in the shot put with a throw of 14.10m (46' 3.25").
Sophomore Vera Sjöberg ran 4:39.30 in the mile to place 29th in a field of over 300 runners.
Sjöberg also ran 9:26.09 in the 3,000m which is currently the fastest time in the Patriot League.
Junior Emma Lawrence jumped 11.85m (38' 10.5") in the triple jump for the fourth-best current mark in the Patriot League.

Outside Lens

LSU's Michaela Rose ran a 1:59.49 in the 800m to set the facility record and the second-fastest all-time mark in the NCAA.
Thirty women ran sub-4:40 in the mile.
NC State's men's DMR team ran the third-fastest time in the event this year with a 9:37.96 effort.
