ANNAPOLIS, Md. – After dropping the doubles point, the Boston University men's tennis team rallied in singles play to edge George Mason, 4-3, on Saturday afternoon at Navy's Tose Family Tennis Center.

With their fourth one-point victory of the season, the Terriers improve to 12-7, while the Atlantic 10's Patriots drop to 4-9. GMU won two of the three doubles matches for the first point, but the Terriers came back with four singles victories, including three in straight sets.

In doubles, the Patriots posted a 6-2 win at line 1, while senior Jonah Dickson and junior Adrian Pawlowski posted a 6-3 victory on court 3. GMU finished with one extra break for the 6-4 win in the No. 2 slot to grab the early 1-0 lead.

Reigning Patriot League Player of the Week and sophomore Corey Craig dropped the fewest games with a 6-1, 6-1 victory at line 1 against All-A10 honoree Monil Lotlikar. Junior Dion Loutas rolled to a 6-2, 6-2 win on court 5 to move ahead, 2-1.

The Patriots retook the lead with a 6-2, 6-4 win at line 3 and 7-6(4), 5-7, 6-1 victory in the No. 2 slot. BU though would prevail in the final two matches to grab the team victory.

Senior Jose Maria Robalino triumphed in both tiebreakers for a thrilling 7-6(5), 7-6(5) victory on court 4. Classmate Ben Letzer then clinched the final point by holding off his opponent in a hard-fought 6-2, 3-6, 6-4 win at line 6.

The Terriers will remain at Navy and next open Patriot League play against the Midshipmen on Sunday (March 24) with a 9 a.m. start time.
