BOSTON – Wrapping up a season-high four-game road trip, the Boston University men's basketball team will visit Northern Kentucky on Saturday with tip-off slated for 1 p.m.

TERRIER TIDBITS

BU is 1-2 on the current trip with last Saturday's 75-74 win over Harvard taking place in-between losses at Columbia (54-49) and Penn State (96-87).
On Tuesday, junior Michael McNair scored a career-high 28 points, the most by a Terrier since Javante McCoy ('22) totaled 30 in the 2022 Patriot League overtime semifinal at Navy. McNair is shooting 52.1 percent from behind the arc to average a team-high 15.1 ppg.
Sophomore Ben Defty is second in points at 12.4 ppg while owning a team-high 6.9 rpg.
Freshmen Chance Gladden (11.4 ppg) and Sam Hughes (10.9 ppg) are also averaging double figures with senior Ben Roy close behind at 8.0 ppg.
Overall, BU is averaging 72.6 ppg and 47.8 FG% while holding opponents to 77.6 ppg and 49.6 FG%.

SCOUTING NORTHERN KENTUCKY

The Norse are on a seven-game home win streak dating back to last season. NKU owns a 4-0 record this year with four 10+ point wins, including 93-83 over the Wofford Terriers on Nov. 26.
The two losses this year happened at then-No. 18 Tennesse (95-56) and East Tennessee State (75-63).
NKU went 17-16 last season with 11-9 Horizon League record and 12-6 home record.
Four NKU men are averaging double figures in points with 6-foot-2 and Cal State Fullerton transfer Donovan Oday averaging 18.1 ppg while shooting 46.2 3FG%. 6-foot-8 LJ Wells owns a team-high 8.3 rpg with 11.1 ppg and 2.7 spg.
NKU is averaging 87.3 ppg and 49.8 FG% while holding opponents to 76.0 ppg and 43.7 FG%.

SERIES HISTORY

BU and NKU will meet for the first time ever.
The Terriers are 0-2 against the Horizon League dating back to 2011 with 63-62 loss to Cleveland State and more recently a 67-46 loss at Milwaukee back in 2022-23.

LOOKING AHEAD

BU will return home to host Vermont State University Johnson for second time in three years.
In the previous meeting in 2023, BU rolled to a 90-49 home victory by shooting 50.0 FG% and finishing with a 14-3 advantage in made 3FGs.
