BOSTON – Following a season-high four game road trip, the Boston University men's basketball team returns to Case Gym to host VTSU Johnson on Wednesday evening with a 6 p.m. start time.

BU has five contests scheduled in December with three taking place at The Roof. After facing the Badgers, the Terriers will later host Maine on Dec. 10 and UMass Lowell on Dec. 21 while taking the road to New Hampshire (Dec. 6) and Dartmouth (Dec. 13).

TERRIER TIDBITS

Averaging a team-high 15.5 ppg, junior Michael McNair ranks 10th nationally shooting 52.8 percent from behind the arc and 14th at 3.50 made 3-pointers per contest.
Owner of the team's lone double-double, sophomore Ben Defty (12.3 ppg) leads the Terriers at 6.6 rpg and ranks 49th with 14 blocks.
Freshman Chance Gladden has dished out a team-high 3.1 apg while ranking second on the team in points at 12.5 ppg.
The Terriers are 1-1 at home so far, posting a 90-77 win over Brown and 91-79 loss to Merrimack back in November.
BU is averaging 71.6 ppg and 48.6 FG% while holding opponents to 77.1 ppg and 48.1 FG%.

SCOUTING VTSU JOHNSON

The Badgers started the year with four home losses, including 108-101 double overtime decision to Vermont Tech, and most recently dropped a 74-65 decision to Thomas following a 74-65 defeat at Norwich.
Four Badgers are averaging double figures in points with Joseph Gargiulo leading the way at 13.7 ppg alongside 2.7 apg and 1.7 spg.
Mohammed Semega leads the VTSU-J at 7.2 rpg with 12.0 ppg, 2.7 spg and 2.7 apg while adding six blocks.
Overall, the Badgers are averaging 75.2 ppg and 45.2 FG% while holding opponents to 89.2 ppg and 49.0 FG%.

SERIES HISTORY

BU won the first meeting in 2023 with a 90-49 decision at Case Gym.
Graduate student Malcolm Chimezie contributed a career-high 17 points, while junior Matai Baptiste earned 13 points.

LOOKING AHEAD

BU will hit the road again with a visit to former America East foe, New Hampshire, on Saturday for a 7 p.m. tip.
BU leads the all-time series, 102-39, with the help of an active six-game win streak.
The Terriers claimed a 64-57 victory in the last meeting back at UNH on Nov. 20, 2022.
