BOSTON – The No. 14 Boston University women's ice hockey team (19-8-1, 16-4-1 HE) is prepped to host UConn (17-9-2, 15-4-2 HE) and Providence (16-9-3, 12-7-2 HE) this weekend. Puck drop against the Huskies on Friday (Feb. 7) is set for 6 p.m. while the game against the Firars on Saturday (Feb. 8) is scheduled for 4 p.m.

TERRIER TIDBITS
  • The Terriers defeated No. 13/12 Northeastern on Tuesday in overtime, 3-2.
  • Freshman Kaileigh Quigg and junior Clara Yuhn scored in regulation while sophomore Alex Law scored the game winner in overtime.
  • Junior Sydney Healey led in points with three assists while graduate students Lindsay Bochna and Julia Shaunessy and senior Maggie Hanzel all recorded one assist.
  • Senior Callie Shanahan made 33 saves in the win.
  • The win marked the first time since Jan. 18, 2015, that BU defeated the Huskies at Matthews Arena.
