Terriers to Open Spring in Florida at Columbia Classic

BOSTON - The Boston University women's golf team gets its spring season underway on Saturday with the first two rounds of the Columbia Classic at Duran Golf Club in Melbourne, Florida.
After 36 holes on Saturday, the final round will take place on Sunday.
BU is one 12 teams in the field and the lone Patriot League squad at the tournament. In addition to the host Lions, three other Ivy League schools (Dartmouth, Penn, Princeton) are also participating. Princeton and Illinois State are the best teams in the tournament based on current rankings.
Senior Christy Chen will be at the top of the lineup, followed by classmate Victoria Takai, sophomore Amy Han, sophomore Madison Takai and junior Annika Manjunath. Senior Meiqi Gao and sophomore Hibiki Adachi will be competing as individuals.
