BOSTON — The Boston University track & field team wrapped up a two-meet weekend at the Wake Forest Invitational and the Holy Cross Invitational with a school record and four top 10 marks.

Junior Vera Sjöberg ran a time of 4:09.79 to break her own school record by over three seconds in the event at the Wake Forest Invitational, finishing sixth overall. Her time is seventh in the NCAA East Region this year and should qualify her for the NCAA East Regional.

TOP 10 TERRIERS

• Junior Olivia Dodds ran a 2:08.72 time in the 800m, improving her personal best once again this season and moving into sixth all-time at BU in the event.
• Junior Ellie Roan pushed her shot 14.75m to move into third all-time outdoors at BU and won the event at the Holy Cross Invite.
• Senior Ryan Rosenberger reached 7.42m in the long jump, tying him for third all-time at BU and winning him the event at the Holy Cross Invite.
• Freshman Iman Roka's 100m hurdles time of 14.01 seconds is good for fifth all-time at BU and was the second-fastest time at the Holy Cross Invite.
• Freshman Guy Margalit won the triple jump at the Holy Cross Invite and moved into seventh all-time with a 15.14m mark.

NOTABLE PERFORMANCES

• Junior Glenn Bell ran the 3000m steeplechase at the Wake Forest Invitational, taking ninth with a 9:09.76 mark.  
• Freshman Dan Hruska finished 12th in the 5000m at the Wake Forest Invite, clocking a 14:19.91 time.
• At Holy Cross, BU went 1-2 in the men's 100m, finishing with times of 10.62 and 10.66, respectively.
• Senior Steven Franco crossed the line in 14.86 seconds in the 110m hurdles to take second at Holy Cross, and he finished third in the high jump with a 1.89m clearance.
• Freshman Kendall Barnhart won the 400m hurdles at the Holy Cross Invite, crossing the line in 1:02.18.
• Freshman Luna Scorzelli won the 1500m at the Holy Cross Invite with a time of 4:37.46, and she was followed in second by sophomore Anna Fawcett, who finished in 4:40.43.
• Freshman Luke Riordan took third in the discus, slinging his implement 46.75m at the Holy Cross Invite.
• Junior Ellie Roan won the hammer throw with a toss of 58.32m at the Holy Cross Invite.
• Senior Asia Hamilton placed second (1.63m) and junior Dakota Wang took third (1.58m) in the high jump at the Holy Cross Invite Saturday.
• In the women's javelin throw at Holy Cross, freshman Zoe Goldberg threw 39.95m to take third.
• Junior Owen Faulha won the men's javelin at the Holy Cross Invite, reaching 60.77m.
• BU went 1-2 in the long jump with junior Peace Omonzane hitting the sand at 6.19m and Hamilton reaching 6.10m.
• Graduate student Alli Lofquist finished third in the pole vault with a 3.54m bar clearance.
• Following Roan's shot put performance was senior Kiana Lino, who took second with a 14.64m mark.
• In the men's shot put, senior Cole Tucker reached 16.51m to win the event at the Holy Cross Invite, while freshman Luke Riordan threw his implement 16.06m to take second.
• Junior Emma Lawrence finished first in the triple jump with a wind-aided 12.37m mark and Omonzane took second with a 12.20m mark.
