BOSTON – The Boston University women's ice hockey team hosts Vermont for a weekend series at Walter Brown Arena. Puck drop on Friday is set for 6 p.m. while Saturday's tilt is scheduled for 4 p.m.

On Friday night, there will be an LED foam finger giveaway for fans. Saturday's game will be BU's Pride Game. During the Pride Game, BU Athlete Ally will be collecting essential item donations for The Home for Little Wanderers, an organization that has several programs supporting LGBTQIA+ youth. They are accepting new and unopened items such as cleaning products, household goods and hygiene products.

TERRIER TIDBITS

Most recently, BU fell to Harvard in overtime, 2-1, in the Beanpot Championship.
Junior Greta Henderson scored the lone goal for the Terriers and was assisted by seniors Maeve Kelly and Luisa Welcke.
Fifteen Terriers have found the back of the net while 16 have made at least one assist.
BU has recorded 40 or more shots on goal four times this year, most recently posting 47 against Harvard.
The Terriers' faceoff win percentage of 0.555 is second in Hockey East and ninth in the nation.
The Terriers' penalty killing percentage of 0.858 is good for fifth in Hockey East and 10th in the NCAA.
Senior Lilli Welcke leads the Terriers in faceoff wins with 261, which ranks second in Hockey East and 20th in the NCAA.

Vermont is 10-12-4 overall with a 4-7-3 record in Hockey East play.
The Catamounts are 3-4-1 on the road.
Most recently, Vermont defeated Maine, 2-1, in overtime.
In its last road appearance, the Catamounts tied Merrimack, 3-3, before winning the shootout, 2-0.
Vermont has gone to a shootout three times this season and has won twice.
