BOSTON – The Boston University women's ice hockey team is prepped to travel to New Hampshire for a 6 p.m. tilt on Saturday at the Whittemore Center.
LAST TIME OUT
- BU is fresh off winning the Belpot in Belfast.
- The Terriers won the shootout, 1-0, against then-No. 8 Quinnipiac after a 2-2 tie in the semifinal game.
- BU then went on to defeat Harvard, 3-2, to win the Friendship Series.
- Senior Sydney Healey scored both of BU's goals against Quinnipiac while seniors Riley Walsh and Lilli Welcke and junior Neely Nicholson scored against the Crimson.
- Sophomores Kaileigh Quigg and Tessa Demain each logged one assist against the Bobcats while senior Clara Yuhn registered two.
- Freshman Lexie Bertelsen, sophomore Lola Reid and senior Maeve Kelly all earned assists against Harvard.
- Junior Mari Pietersen made a combined 63 saves in net in the two games, with 36 coming against Quinnipiac.
- Pietersen was tabbed Player of the Tournament and was also named the Player of the Game against the Bobcats, boasting a .940 save percentage over the weekend.
- Adding to her accolades, Pietersen was named the Hockey East Player of the Week and the Goaltender of the Month for December.
- The Terriers' faceoff win percentage of 0.540 is second in Hockey East and 10th in the nation.
- BU's four shorthanded goals lead Hockey East and are third-most in the NCAA.
- The Terriers' penalty killing percentage of 0.831 is good for sixth in Hockey East.
SCOUTING THE WILDCATS
- New Hampshire is 11-8-3 overall this season with a 5-5-2 mark in Hockey East play.
- The Wildcats are 4-5-1 at home.
- Most recently, UNH posted 4-0 and 6-1 wins against LIU at home.
- In its last Hockey East contest, UNH tied Maine, 2-2, before winning the shootout, 2-1.
- UNH is 2-1-0 against ranked opponents this year with a 4-1 win over then-No. 11 Brown and a 4-3 overtime win against then-No. 6 Northeastern. Its lone ranked loss came against the Terriers when they were No. 15.
- The Wildcats last won a Hockey East contest at home on Nov. 7 in a 4-2 decision against Providence.
- UNH has not won more than three consecutive outings this season.

- BU is 40-21-7 overall against UNH with a 17-10-4 record on the road.
