McNair Adds Academic All-Patriot League Honors

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Excelling both on the court and in the classroom, Boston University men's basketball junior Michael McNair earned Academic All-Patriot League Team honors, as announced by the conference office Wednesday morning.
The honor arrives two days after McNair became the first Terrier since 2022 to claim All-PL First Team recognition. The Temecula, California, native wrapped up the regular season averaging a team-high 17.0 ppg with a single-season program record 102 made 3-pointers, ninth most nationally. His 45.1 field goal shooting percentage in 3-point territory placed an even higher No. 6 in the rankings.
On the academic front, the former PL Academic Honor Roll member is currently majoring in advertising. His award marks the fourth straight season BU has had a Terrier land on an Academic All-Conference squad following a 12-year drought.
BU will next open the PL tournament against American on Thursday (March 5) at 7 p.m.
