AS A FRESHMAN IN 2023-24

Became just the fourth freshman to ever win the Hobey Baker Award, doing so as the youngest player in college hockey at just 17 years old ... Also earned First Team All-America accolades and was named the National Rookie of the Year ... Appeared in 38 games, missing one while representing Canada at World Junior Championship ... Led Canada with four goals and four assists for eight points ... Ended the regular season as nation's leader in points per game (1.69) ... Finished the season ranked second in the country with 32 goals and third in the nation with 64 points ... Fourth player in league history to win Hockey East Player and Rookie of the Year in the same season ... Just the fourth freshman since turn of the century to record 30 goals and 30 assists in the same season ... Only player since start of 2005-06 season to score 22 goals in his first 25 games ... Scored first collegiate goal and had primary assist on overtime goal in his Terrier debut, a 4-3 win at Bentley on Oct. 7 ... Recorded career-high four assists against UMass Lowell on Nov. 11 ... Notched at least two points in five of his first six games ... Won 53.5% of his faceoffs this year, which was the best win percentage of any of the top-10 point producers in the country who took at least 100 draws.

Skated for Chicago Steel of the USHL in 2022-23 … Second player to ever be named USHL Player, Forward and Rookie of the Year in the same season … All-USHL First Team and USHL All-Rookie Team selection … Led USHL in goals (46) and points (86), shattering the league record for most points by a U17 player … Scored two goals, including overtime-winner, to clinch bronze for Canada at the 2023 IIHF World Under-18 Championship, matching Canada’s single-tournament scoring record with 15 points (6g, 9a) as a 16-year-old … Totaled 50 goals and 57 assists for 117 points during 2021-22 season with Shattuck St. Mary’s.
