Boston University

David Merson, a 2006 graduate of Boston University, enters his third year as a member of the men's soccer staff as the director of soccer operations.

Merson is a newly certified athletic trainer and is licensed by the Massachusetts Board of Allied Health.

His work as an undergraduate at Boston University earned him a Sargent College of Health and Rehabilitation Student Activity Award.

Merson has been part of the New England Revolution's volunteer staff for the last nine seasons and continues to do so as an operations assistant as part of the Revs Brigade. He also worked as an operations assistant during many international soccer matches at Foxboro and Gillette Stadium.

Currently, he is a second-year graduate student studying Physical Therapy. Merson also works as an administrative assistant for the Undergraduate Athletic Training Program in Sargent College of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences.

Merson is a native of Peabody, Mass.
