Women's Soccer Falls To Illinois

Evanston, IL-Lisa Baldwin scored two goals to lead Illinois to a 3-0 win over B.U. at Northwestern University this afternoon.
The Illini's Julie Schwetter scored the game's first goal at 14:01 from 25 yards out into the right upper corner past B.U.'s senior goalie Meghan Lynch (Andover, MA). Baldwin tallied her first score at 23:29 to give Illinois a 2-0 advantage into intermission.
Lisa Baldwin scored her second goal of the game with just under 11 minutes remaining to give Illinois the 3-0 win.
The Terriers couldn't get one by Illinois goalie Sarah Hegger (3 saves). Her counterpart, Meghan Lynch recorded nine saves.
Illinois outshot Boston University 18-11.
The Terriers fall to 1-2 on the season and play Sunday, September 12 at Northwestern against the Wildcats at 1 p.m.
