Parker had a stretch of nine straight 20-or-more-win seasons come to an end last year when the Terriers posted a 14-20-3 record. It was only the fourth time in his head coaching career that his B.U. team had finished with a sub-.500 record.
DEGERMAN, HERON, CAVANAUGH ON OFFENSIVE TEARS: Senior captain Tommi Degerman (Helsinki, FIN) along with Heron and sophomore Dan Cavanaugh (Springfield, Mass.) comes into tonight's game on offensive tears.
Degerman has 4-48 in his last 6 games - He has been the epitome of consistency this year, as he has never gone more than one game without at least one point - He has had 10 multiple-point games, while his game-high is 3 points which he has achieved 3 times - He leads the game in power play goals (8) and game-winning goals (4), while he is tied for the lead in points (38).
