Terriers Bow To Eagles In ECAC Women's Soccer Classic

Deidre Enos scored a pair of goals for the second straight game but it was not enough as the Terrier women's soccer team dropped a 4-2 decision to Boston College in the first day of play at the MSI/ECAC Cape Cod Women's Soccer Classic on Sept. 8.
The loss dropped B.U.'s record to 1-2. The team will try to get back to the.500 mark on Sunday (September 10th) when it meets Brown University at approximately 2:00 p.m. In Friday's Classic opener, Brown shut out Colgate University, 2-0.
The Eagles, who were ranked fifth in the Northeast Region in this week's poll, took a 1-0 lead over the Terriers, who were ranked seventh in the Region, just 2:35 into the game.
The score remained that way until the 65th minute of action when BC opened a 2-0 lead. The lead jumped to 3-0 in the 71st minute before Enos scored her first goal of the game, and third of the season in the 76th minute.
After the Eagles scored again in the 86th minute, Enos closed out the scoring with just 13 seconds to play in regulation.
The senior from Milton improved her career totals to 35 goals and 86 points.
