Chin Earns America East Player Of The Week Award

BOSTON - Boston University sophomore midfielder Sedrick Chin (St. Mary's, Jamaica) was named the America East Player of the Week on Oct. 13 after totaling seven points in the Terriers' two conference wins last week.
In addition to his league honor, Chin was also named to the College Soccer News.com Team of the Week.
Chin had his first multiple-goal game of his career when he scored two goals in the Terriers' 3-0 win over New Hampshire on Oct. 8.
Against defending America East Champion Northeastern, Chin had a goal and an assist while leading the Terriers to a 4-2 win over the Huskies on Oct. 11.
On the season, Chin is tied for fourth in the conference in goals per game (0.50) and fifth in points per game (1.10).
This is the second America East award in Chin's career. As a freshman in 2002, he earned Rookie of the Week honors after scoring a goal and adding two assists in a 3-1 win over Massachusetts on Sept. 6.
Boston University (7-5-1, 2-0-1) is on the road for two important conference games this week. The Terriers take on the University at Albany on Wednesday, Oct. 15, at 3:00 p.m., and Binghamton University on Saturday, Oct. 18, at 2:00 p.m.
