Dorman Receives Invite To 2004 adidas MLS Player Combine

BOSTON - Senior midfielder Andrew Dorman (Flintshire, Wales) was one of 54 collegiate players invited to participate in the 2004 adidas Major League Soccer Player Combine, as announced by the MLS Communications Office on Thursday, Dec. 4.
Dorman will participate in the Player Combine at the Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif., from Sunday, Jan. 11 to Tuesday, Jan. 13. The event, attended by MLS general managers and members of all 10 coaching staffs, will be used to showcase collegiate players prior to the 2004 MLS Superdraft, which will be held at the Charlotte Convention Center on Friday, Jan. 16.
A Three-time America East First Team All-Conference selection, Dorman led B.U. and ranked fourth in the nation in assists in 2003, averaging .71 assists per game on the strength of 12 assists in 17 contests. The midfielder also led the Terriers in scoring with 18 points and was tied for fourth on the team in goals with three.
During his four-year tenure, Dorman set a B.U. program record with 37 career assists. He also totaled 22 goals during his career to rank tied for seventh on the Terriers' career scoring list with 81 points.
Boston University completed the 2003 season with a 9-8-3 overall record and a 4-2-3 mark in America East play.
