Erlichman Named America East Co-Rookie Of The Week

BOSTON - Freshman forward Roland Erlichman (Paradise Valley, AZ), who scored a pair of goals last week for the Terrier men's soccer team, was named America East Co-Rookie of the Week on Oct. 18. He shares the award with Matt Watson of UMBC.
Erlichman scored his team-leading fifth goal of the season in B.U.'s 3-2 win over Vermont on Oct. 16. With the victory, the Terriers improved to 5-6-1 overall and 3-1-1 in conference play.
The freshman forward also had a goal in the Terriers' 2-1 road loss at regional-rival Connecticut.
On the season, Erlichman leads the Terriers in scoring with 11 points off five goals and one assist. He has appeared in all 12 games, earning 10 starts. In America East, Erlichman leads all freshmen and is tied for sixth overall in goals per game (0.42).
This is the second time this season Erlichman has been awarded a weekly honor from the conference. He also received the award on Oct. 4.
Boston University plays a pair of pivotal road games this week when it takes on America East rivals Northeastern and New Hampshire. The Terriers take on the Huskies on Wednesday, Oct. 20, at 3:00 p.m. and the Wildcats on Saturday, Oct. 24, at 9:30 a.m.
