Erlichman Earns America East Rookie Of The Week Award

BOSTON - Freshman forward Roland Erlichman (Paradise Valley, AZ), who scored Boston University's goal in its 1-1 tie with Hartford on Oct. 2, was honored as the America East Rookie of the Week on Oct. 4.
With the score, Erlichman raised his team-leading goal total to three and tied for the team lead in points with six.
The freshman forward has appeared in all eight games for the Terriers, earning six starts. He ranks second on the team in shots (14) and shots on goal (6) and is third in shooting percentage (.214).
Erlichman becomes the second Terrier to receive a weekly award from the conference. Senior back Erik Evjen (Askim, Norway) was named the America East Player of the Week on Sept. 27.
Boston University (3-4-1, 1-0-1) wraps up its six-game homestand when it hosts league rival Albany on Wednesday, Oct. 6, at 7:00 p.m.
