Marschall Named to COSIDA Second Team Academic All-District

BOSTON, MA - Junior defender Susan Marschall has been named Second Team District 1 CoSIDA (College Sports Information Directors of America) Academic All-American for women's soccer.
Marschall (Baton Rouge, LA) started all 20 games this season for the Terriers who finished 13-5-2 overall and advanced to the America East Tournament before losing in double overtime to cross-town rival Northeastern, 1-0. On November 4th, she was also named an America East Honor Mention for her defensive playing in 2004.
An Honorable Mention All-America East selection this year, Marschall finished the season fourth on the team in points with 11. She scored four goals and added three assists this past season to bring her career totals to 10 goals 7 assists for 27 points in three seasons.
To be eligible for Academic All-American recognition, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative grade-point average. Marschall, a junior majoring in journalism in the University's College of Communication, Marschall holds a 3.45 GPA. In 2002 and 2003, she was named to the America East Academic Honor Roll.
