
Cook Named NSCAA/adidas Second Team All-American

BOSTON - Senior forward Meghann Cook (Melrose, Mass.) was named NSCAA/adidas second team All-America Friday afternoon. Cook, who led the Terriers??? with 25 points (nine goals, seven assists) on the season becomes just the third player in school history to receive the national accolade. Deidre Enos was named first team All-America in 2000, and Cook???s teammate Melissa Shulman was named third team All-America in 2003. Cook, the 2005 America East Striker of the Year, was the only league player honored.
Cook finished her career at BU as the all-time leader in assists (25), ranked second in points (86) and fifth in goals (28). She was named first team all-conference in 2004 and 2005 and was named second team all-league in 2002 and 2003. This season, she helped the Terriers finish 14-5-4, win the America East regular season and tournament championship and advance to the second round of the NCAA Tournament for the second time in school history.
