
Marschall, Shulman Play in NEISA All-Star Game

A pair of BU women???s soccer players was chosen to play in the New England Women's Intercollegiate Soccer Association Senior All-Star game on Saturday, Dec. 3. Melissa Shulman and Susan Marschall represented BU and the duo played for the Red team. Shulman scored a goal with a blast from 25 yards out, while Marschall held the defense together at center back in a 3-5-2 formation.
Shulman ended her stellar career at BU ranked second all-time with 33 goals scored and third in school annals with 74 points. She was named second team all-America East in 2005 was a three-time all-conference honoree during her career. Marschall wrapped up her tenure at BU with 14 goals (9th all-time), eight assists and 36 points (11th all-time). She was named second team all-conference in both 2003 and 2005. The pair helped the Terriers finish 14-5-4, win the America East regular season and tournament championship and advance to the second round of the NCAA Tournament for the second time in school history.
