He is shooting 55.3 percent (21-for-38) in his five starts to rank fourth in the America East.
The Terriers are coming off a 70-47 loss to Marshall in BU's first meeting with the Herd in program history. Turnovers plagued the Terriers, as BU committed 19 for the game and gave up 22 points off those errors. Brittain led Boston University with 13 points and four rebounds in 24 minutes. He was followed by freshman guard/forward John Holland (Bronx, N.Y.) who added 11 points in the loss. The Herd had a 38-22 halftime lead after going on a 20-9 run over the last eight-and-a-half minutes in the first frame. Marshall took as much as a 24-point lead in the second half as BU went scoreless for five minutes in the middle of the period. MU's defense was on display as the Herd blocked six shots and made eight steals.
Boston University returns home to Case Gym to host Manhattan on Dec. 1 at 4 p.m. and Harvard on Dec. 4 at 7 p.m. before beginning a five-game road swing.
