Senior Jin Oh broke a scoreless deadlock in the 80th minute of the America East championship game with his first game-winner of the season on Saturday afternoon to earn GoTerriers.com Student-Athlete of the Week honors. The Boston University men's soccer team defeated Binghamton, 1-0, to secure its seventh conference title, a week after the women's team won its respective championship.
Oh, who was named the Most Outstanding Player of the tournament, took a pass from Richy Dorman and placed a chip shot from 20 yards out over the Bearcat goalie, who was moving up the field in anticpation of a line drive shot. Oh also scored the team's first goal in the semifinals during BU's 2-1 victory over Vermont. The Dededo, Guam, native entered the postseason with only one goal but finished strong with two of the team's biggest goals of the year to help BU earn an automatic berth to the NCAA tournament.
