BOSTON - The Boston University men's tennis team (4-8, 2-2 America East) fell, 7-0, to Coastal Carolina in Myrtle Beach, S.C. at the Prestwick Country Club. The game was postponed from March 9 due to the poor weather that delayed the Terriers' travel to South Carolina.
The Terriers had a tough day but were able to extend matches at fourth and sixth singles to three sets. Junior Miron Nissim played John Hairston losing 6-3 in the first set before rallying to take the second, 6-4. However, Hairston came back to earn the win with a 6-0 third set.
Danny Frid won his first set at sixth singles, 1-6, but Omar El Bouzkouri came back to claim the final two sets, 6-1, 6-1.
BU returns to action on Saturday, March 15 when the Terriers take on the Citadel at 3 p.m.
