
Women's Tennis Drops 4-3 Decision to Davidson

BOSTON - The Boston University women's tennis team fell, 4-3, to Davidson on Saturday, April 5. The Terriers (7-6) picked up the doubles point but were narrowly defeated in singles.
Sophomore Liz Corrao picked up two wins on the afternoon, defeating allison Rauh 6-0, 6-4 in fifth singles before teaming up with Yana Sadovskaya in third doubles to hand Rauh and partner Kim Whelan an 8-4 loss.
Junior Francine Whu was the other Terrier to score a singles win. She defeated Kelsey Linville, 6-4, 6-3. Junior co-captain Cori Lefkowith was able to push her singles match to a third set after falling in the first, but Davidson's Kim Whelan rallied for the win.
BU returns to action on Sunday, April 6 against Furman.
