McClernon Earns AE Co-Player of the Week

BOSTON - Senior Farrell McClernon has earned America East Co-Player of the Week honors, the conference announced on Monday afternoon. McClernon scored two goals and added one assist in two games last week, as the Boston University women's soccer team clinched its third straight America East regular-season title on Sunday afternoon.
The 2006 Rookie of the Year, McClernon scored the first tally and assisted on another in Wednesday's 7-0 win over Bryant then added a score in Sunday's 5-0 over UMBC. McClernon's five points last week pushed her into eighth among BU's all-time scoring leaders as she has now totaled 51 in her career.
The regular-season crown was the Terriers' seventh in the last decade and they will now host an America East semifinal match-up on Sunday (Nov. 1) against the winner of the Albany/Stony Brook contest.
